[Dx4win] DX4WIN 8.03 problem: Rig control drops out

I am a long time user of DX4WIN, but am having trouble with the v. 8.03.  My rig control starts up, but drops after 5 minutes or so.  When I try to "start radio" again I get the error "The semaphore timeout period has expired."

Any suggestions?
