[Dx4win] Sudden printer error

I had similar problem once when tried to put custom label with impossible 
numbers.

Never heard of that one before.  Have you tried re-starting DX4WIN?
Have you tried rebooting the computer? If it starts working again, can
you try to reproduce the problem?
