[Dx4win] RDA award changes

My DX4WIN award file generator automatically picked up the new file from
the RDA site. All CT- references are GONE, you will have to make a note
of them in your log *BEFORE* updating your award file, then translate
them to the new names (ZK-) yourself. There is no way for DX4WIN to do
this for you automatically.

There are two methods for doing this:

Before updating the award file, use F8 to search for "Russian District
Award" in the "Custom Award" field. Then open the Logbook window.
Using the report editor, select the fields you need to see
(call/date/time/band/mode) as well as AwdString and/or AwdVal. Save the
logbook window to a .CSV file by right-clicking on the it. You can then
open this .CSV file in a spreadsheet program like Excel, and sort by
award value (RDA #), to help identify the QSOs in the affected
districts. Finally, install the new award file and make the changes to
your log by hand.

Perhaps a simpler method involves using export/import. Using the old
award file, export your log using the highest # DX4WIN# value possible
(i.e. DX4WIN8, DX4WIN6 or DX4WIN4). Next, exit DX4WIN and install the
new award file. Create a new (empty) log, and import the .DXQ file from
the previous export into it. Using F8, search for the word "Import" in
the "Notes for this QSO" field. This will help you find RDA's in your
old log that no longer exist in the new list (i.e. all the CT-
districts). As above, open the Logbook window, use the Report editor to
select the call/date/time/band/mode fields, as well as the "QSO Notes"
field (where the import error is reported), and save it to a file. This
should give you only the QSOs that need to have the RDA field updated by
hand. Don't use this logbook again! Discard it, and open your original
log file. You can use the list created above to make the RDA changes to
those QSOs that caused import errors.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. I don't make the
rules, I just try to follow them! :-)

Again, the list of changes (in English) is here:

I will try to release the updated award file this weekend.
