[Dx4win] DX4WIN.INI file save error

I am not able to save my dx4win.ini file after editing preferences.  The
mail list archive has a reference to this problem according to my Google
search, BUT I am unable to access the link.  It simply fails each time I
click on it.

 

Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem?  Please and thank you.
