[Dx4win] 30 Meters / SSB

I don't know how I did it.  I did not wish to do it.  I am unable to "fix"
it.

 

When I click on a packet spot for 30 meters, my radio immediately goes to
the correct frequency, BUT it always goes into "SSB" mode.  I have attempted
to use the 

File | Databases | Radios | routine without success.  I click on "Mode
Values" and change it to "CW" - there is a checkmark in the "Prefer" box.  I
click on File | Save Changes and Exit".  When I complete this routine, my
radio is "Off" and if I open File | Preferences | Radio the type of radio is
blank so I have no radio control.  If I then select my radio "Elecraft K3
X4" and save the changes and exit, my radio is again controlled by DX4Win.  

 

Can someone point me in the correct direction as my actions are taking me in
a circle and I never seem to accomplish my goal.
