[Dx4win] Unable to select TCP for packet

There are two specific Windows Critical Updates I have banned over 
the past year because they disable one or more of my network 
applications.  If you run out of ideas, look in your Control Panel -> 
Add or Remove Programs to locate the specific updates that were 
installed last night.  I wouldn't worry about any application 
updates, but just those applicable to the Windows OS.  I would delete 
them and then see if the problem goes away.  If it does, you can add 
them back one at a time until you find the culprit which you can ban 
from future updates.

In the short term, you can do a diagnostic reboot and select the 
"Last Good Configuration" which should get you back up and running again.

All of my references are to Windows XP Pro.
