[Dx4win] 7.07.02 does not work with linux anymore

Dear readers and linux users!

On my side Version 7.07.02 of DX4win cannot be used under linux
(SusE 11.1, Ubuntu 8.10) anymore. Version 7.05.04 worked with a small
bug (freezing after first saving (ctrl-s) for about 10 Min, then works
ok). The new Version counts down 120 seconds to zero (even after ctrl-s)
for saving and freezes without waking up again.  Anyone else have this
or similar Problems?
Test 1: program will run overnight > 6h from now, looking if anything
changes.

P.S. Changing system to windows is no option.
