[Dx4win] Can't Talk to Radio

After running DX4WIN for years I have had my radio down for about a year and a half.  After setting it up again I find that I cannot get the radio control to work.
Radio parameters are:     
      IC-756 Pro III
      Adr = 6E
      Baud = 9600
      Com3
      Poll rate = 5000
OS is XP home
Interface is CT-17
Any help for an OM with failing memory would be appreciated.
