[Dx4win] RTTY Window is open - can't get rid of it

That was it Jim - gone now.  I've never even opened the RTTY pref tab before so was perplexed.  Appreciate the assist.

In your RTTY preferences, change RTTY type to "none".  Then restart DX4WIN.

I can't figure out how to dupliate the problem here.
