[Dx4win] Dx spots new band/mode

Hi, 
need a help please.
On the spot window I do use DXCC colors, and I do 
expect to see colors set (in the preferences) for the "New band/mode",
but instead I see colors set (in the preferences) for "New award band"
The  country is never  worked on this band.

Is this (Award way) the only way I can see the colors for the new one on
the band?
Is it possible to switch off the award colors ?

A lot of colors in the new version, still getting lost :)
