[Dx4win] Version 7.01

I  have 2 questions?

I am running 7.01 for general logging. I don't do digital modes or telnet to
a cluster. Is a reason I should upgrade to the new version?

I also have an intermittent problem where when I open DX4WIN I can see that
the program is trying to open because DX4WIN shown in the task bar but that
as far as it goes. If I close that and restart normally it will load
normally. Any ideas would be appreciated.
