[Dx4win] 6.04 trouble with Mailed Cutoff

Still running 6.04 (but working on the upgrade part)...
The "Mailed Cutoff" functionality doesn't seem to work for me:
- Mailed Cutoff = 730 (so if I understand correctly, anything with a date
older than 2007-08-24 in the QSL Date field will not be marked as "mailed"
- Filter|Selection...I make a selection
- Reports|<award>|Listing

 > there are several QSOs marked "M" that, after double-clicking, their QSL
date is well before 2007-08-24
 >> as an interesting aside, when I double-click on the report I get a
pop-up showing a date range...this is not described in the documentation
and I'm not sure what possible functionality it could have
 > additionally, in some instances there are multiple QSOs for that
entity. Clicking on the main window scrollbar does not scroll thru the
multiple QSOs

I suspect the "Date range" popup is controlling things...it often comes up
with a single day in the range (even for multiple QSOs for that entity).
But the overall behaviour is quite different from what I expected. I
thought the idea was that I could declare mailed QSL's "aged" so that they
would be highlighted in reports for re-mailing (which of course I wouldn't
do if they're already marked "M").

Maybe this is fixed in ver 7 or 8? But I don't see that description
anywhere in the version history.
