[Dx4win] Question on direct writing to log

I have been away from DX4WIN for awhile.  My version is 7.03.  The reason I left was some reoccurring
problems of lost contacts due to power outages...i.e., sudden shut down.  It was my understanding that
the only way contacts could be logged was by a "buffered write to disk".  Has this changed?  Is there any method
of setting preferences for direct write to hard drive?  My move to Logger32 has been successful regarding 
this issue but DX4WIN has better label print features.
