[Dx4win] FT1000MP Polling

Hi All,

I like the new version 8. In exploring its features I discover that neither 
Ver 8 or Ver 7 that I have will poll my FT1000MP. Both versions read and 
control the radio on command from DX4WIN but the 'cat' indicator does not 
blink as it does when I use Writelog. Problem being that DX4WIN does not 
know when the radio bands/modes etc change. I have tried various 'radio' 
settings but still no polling.
I have looked at the device manager and all looks normal and windows reports 
the com port as OK.

What have I not done?
