The state is not part of the spot. But, But, But you can build filters to either
filter out or in the spotters state (contained in his/her profile) to be displayed
for you.  I only show spots from the Western states and BC.  I'm not too
concerned when N1XX in NY spots DX as the likelyhood of me hearing it are
nill...Check help sh/filters  on your cluster as to how to build filters. I also
filter out VHF, UHF and certain nutballs who think LU's (no offense) are DX.
LU's are DX if you are in China!  Hi Hi

Hi John,

If the state is part of the spot comment field, then it would show up, otherwise no.  I guess it depends on what software your DX spot node is running.  Are there any nodes that put the state inside the comment field?  I don't think CC Cluster by VE7CC does.

Subject: [Dx4win] DX Spot Question

When DX spots are being received, at least from some telnet nodes, the state
in which the spotting station is located is also included as the last field
of the spot following the time. It would be very helpful if that state
information could be included in the DX4WIN DX Spots window. Is this
possible?
