FB Jim, thanks for the reply. I was hoping it could be done simply as
for the inclusion of serial numbers in the WPX and other s/n reporting
contests. To me, it is just another set of numbers such as 1234 could
be a s/n and 100 could be the power. But also all these cut numbers
could cause a problem. In the recent ARRL DX CW I was sent such cut
numbers as NNN and AK. Of course on SSB you wouldn't have the cut
number problem but maybe it wouldn't like powers sent as KW, K, 1K, etc,
containing letters. Any way, I will just continue on as before and not
worry about it.
Thanks again for the explanation. Nothing is ever as simple as it might
seem.
