[Dx4win] Preferences problem with 7.04Bob,
Thanks for the input.  Interestingly enough I installed 7.04 on two 
separate computers and have the same problem on both.  In each case I 
did merge my old INI file into the Preferences file.  I does look like a 
bug in 7.04 but until Paul fixes it perhaps I'll try setting the 
Preferences manually.  Seems like there would be a good chance for a 
number of errors to slip in doing it manually but I'll give it a shot if 
it looks like a fix does not happen soon.

Hi Jerry,

I had the same problem, but others on this reflector told me that they 
did
not have a problem. I did a complete re-install and  manually 
transferred my
settings (rather than merge) and all is well.
