Thanks to Flam and others who sent suggestions to understanding
the confused DX4Win Submission report being generated here.
My 1982 QSOs were not submitted to ARRL for DXCC credit until
long after, and the ARRL (as reflected on the DXCC list
they returned to me and my LOTW linked to the DXCC record)
showed the QSOs on their correct band and mode.
The problem was (surprisingly) that the "Band" box on the DXCC
Setup Parameters in the Preferences was not checked. Once
checked, the confused entries disappeared from a generated
Submissions list.
As far as band confirmations go, I only track 160 meter band
confirmations, as I have no interest in 5BDXCC. Why not having
that "Band" box not checked would result in errors in the
submissions list generated for Mixed, CW, and Phone is not
known.
Thanks especially to Jim AD1C, who provided several hints,
his pointed me to his wonderful 'dx4wlotw.exe' tool, and offered
to look over my DX4Win log to help identify the issue.
I completed my new endorsement submission today, and will ship
it off to ARRL tomorrow. It finally bumps my Mixed total high
enough for DXCC Honor Roll, and gets me within a few cards of
Honor Roll for both CW and Phone as well.
