[Dx4win] back up log

ineed help with backing up my log. i am running ver.7.01 with a laptop dell computer
runing xp. when the loging program ask's me if i want to back up my log i click yes.
now i want to put my log onto a disk. now i am not good with computers and donot
know hpw to do this. if some one can help me and take me by the hand ( hi hi  )
it would be a great help and help ease my mind on this matter. thanks for any help
