I am in a rush for work; but you can also change the time interval for auto
save, I believe.

You should check that this is set for not too long (can't remember what the
default is)

You can type ALT-S after each QSO. Saving to disk does not happen
automatically.

If you have a crash, there MAY BE a way to recover your log.  I wrote an
extensive note on this, see:

It's best to check BEFORE re-starting DX4WIN after the crash.
