I also use my Yaesu 2800DXA and DX4WIN 7.03. The Idiom Press RotorCard DXC has been installed in to my Yeasu control box and connected to COM7 serial port (I use dual com-port extension PCI card in my PC). It was easy to setup and configured. Only one big disadvantage - DX4WIN support only ONE rotator, but I have two towers and I can't control via DX4WIN my 10m 6 el. Yagi rotating with Yaesu 1000DXA ! My wish list is to add more rotor controls!

I have the Yaesu G800-SDX with a RotorCard SDX from Idiom Press and it works like a charm.  It does require a serial port.  I have not tested it with a serial/USB converter.
