[Dx4win] More on DXCC submission and LOTW

Hi Jim

V6 is exactly the same; separate flags. BUT, the point is, after setting in
preferences the "Confirmed QSOs" to "Card or Upload"; you cannot then go
backwards , since the QSL'ed flag has changed state !

Unless V7 does behave differently ?

When V7 came out, I never saw a compelling reason to upgrade; if it is
better in this regard, then I have found the reason !

Hi Dave,

I really don't remember how 6.04 worked, it's been 3 years since version 7
was
released. In version 7, the flags are separate, and used separately, unless
they are "ORed" together in your QSO preferences. But in any event, you
can't
get award (submission) credit for a QSO in DX4WIN until that QSO is first
confirmed (either electronically or with a paper QSL).

Maybe someone else on the reflector who is still using 6.04 can comment.
