[Dx4win] Vanity Callsign Change... How To?

Roy,

As you work toward DXCC, WAS, WAX... awards, changing your callsign does not
invalidate previous QSOs. For this reason I chose to continue using my
existing database when I changed calls. I did a <File, Save as...> and
called it my new callsign... but it has all the old callsigns QSOs in it) as
I migrated from my old to new vanity callsign.

I added a QSO with my new callsign - on the date I started using that call.
I then marked the QSO as "Invalid" in the <Valid DX> field and added a Note
for the QSO to remind myself of what happened on that date. I also use that
trick [a QSO with myself] for times I make significant changes to my
equipment (new rig, new amp, new antenna) so that I can track changes in my
gear as they relate to my DX results.

...works for me, although there may be better approaches.

Yes, you will need a new DX4Win license key.
