I appreciate several responses so far about getting rid of the =
bothersome
ANN/Fulls that come through the cluster. I am trying deleting the =93to =
all de
*=94 string in Packet 2 and see if that does the trick. I really don=92t =
want to
run the VE7 software and only load DX4WIN when I need to log. I really =
like
the ability to be running one software package and do my logging and =
deal
with packet too. If DX4WIN is not running, you lose the best capability =
of
the software in my opinion, and that is the one click =93spot grab=94 =
that loads
it into the log and tunes my rig to the right frequency. Since I am =
using a
computerized ALPHA 87A amp and computerized band switching, my whole =
station
moves to the right frequency with one click and all I have to do is =
start
talking or sending (actually, since all of that is either equipment or
computer controlled, I don=92t have to do that either :-) , which is =
the way
I like it).=20

So, I would really appreciate it if getting rid of the all the crap that
comes through the cluster, particularly during major dxpeditions, so I =
can
clearly see the spots through all the garbage that scrolls across the
screen, would be a real benefit.=20

I guess I will have to ask a few buddies of mine to make ann/fulls =
(which my
DX club generally hates) and see if the changes suggested by Dick =
Flanagan
do the trick.=20
=20
Steve and Paul=85=85 please do consider how to modify the program to =
provide
some flexibility in this area, and any other ideas on how to deal with =
it
given the newest versions would be greatly appreciated.=20
