Two possibilities:

1.  Did you re-order your old DX4WIN.TCP file so your "home" node is at the
top? The file that comes with an upgrade has all the nodes in the default
order, so you will need to edit it again.

2.  Are you running firewall software?  DX4WIN.EXE will be a new version which
must be enabled in your firewall software to access the 'net.

You should have done this anyway.  If by "categories" you mean "groups", those
are part of the .DXL (log) file, not the configuration (.CFG) file.
