What I did find out, quiet a time ago, not all brands of USB to serial use
the same protocol.

Probably something is setup wrong in your PREFERENCES of DX4WIN Setup here
is WINKEY (serial) connected via USB to SERIAL device Comport is 7 

Check if the USB (comport) from Winkey2 is recognized in your Windozs
settings.

I've had some problems with using my new WINKEY2 (USB) with DX4WIN. (works
ok with the WINKEYER2)

Would like to hear from someone who has been successful in using this. (and 
if
it's possible to key alternate rigs using it within DX4WIN)
