Martin, you paid for the software and it is yours. Just start a new
log. That's what I do when operating portable as FP/KB9LIE from
Miquelon every summer. I also have files for the OM's contest efforts
from home and FP so we can upload to LOTW. He paper logs for day-to-day
stuff but uses a laptop for contesting.

When you upgrade you might explain the situation and ask for the
upgrade key with your homecall. It should still be an upgrade, not a
new purchase. No different really than a US ham getting a different
call. I believe the DX4WIN team is good about that, as they should be.
They keep good records.
