[Dx4win] DX4Win on Windows Vista

I do not recommend anyone who wants to use much of the ham radio software that is 
available today to upgrade to Vista.

I had to purchase the XYL a new computer and as it turned out, Jan 30, 2007 was 
the first release day for Vista.  In fact you could not find any computer on the 
shelves with XP or 2K on them.

Vista is running fine for what the XYL does, but we have had a number of 
difficulties.  DX4Win doe not run correctly.  No problem, she can use my XP 
machine if propagation ever improves and we can run a few contest.

Many of the ActiveX components and Windows DLL that were developed with early C 
compilers probably will not function or function erratically.

Software that accesses the internet will also have problems depending on how you 
have the firewall and User Control setup.

It is also interesting to note that out of the box, it downloaded about 100 
Microsoft security updates once I got the firewall in Windows and MacAfee to 
behave properly.
