[Dx4win] problems with DX4WIN and EZMaster

Thank you very much for the detailed setup info.  I am very happy to hear
yours is working okay.  This gives me hope!
 
About the only difference between your settings and mine is the COM port
number.  My virtual COM port (USB cable) is COM 4.  I tried all of the
settings you listed below but still could not get DX4WIN to work.  Then, I
connected my FT1000MP CAT port direct to the PC (bypassing EZMaster) and
DX4WIN worked okay.  Using the direct connection DX4WIN reads the radio freq
and mode, and I can control the radio using DX4WIN.  
 
The problem appears to be the interface between EZMaster and my PC.  I tried
every variable setting I could think of but never did get DX4WIN to work
with EZMaster.  At this time I have run out of ideas.  If I find out
anything new or get it working I will be sure to let you know what I did.
 
Thanks again for taking the time to look up all of your settings and send
them to me.
 
One question - I am only using one USB cable between EZMaster and my PC.
This works good with WinTest and I have total control of both radios, CW,
and PTT using the single USB cable.  Are you using any additional cables
between EZMaster and your PC, like maybe one USB cable for Radio A and one
serial cable for Radio B?  If so, which ports on the rear of EZMaster are
they connected to?  
 
I tried using a second serial cable connection from the COM port on the back
of EZMaster to a serial port on my PC, but that did not change anything and
it broke the WinKeyer in EZMaster.  I had to reload EZMaster firmware (V
1.40) to get WinKey to work again.
