Hi Larry,
I could have sworn that I put this on my web site, but now I can't find
it, and can't find it in my E-mail either. I know it can be done
because I made the change at W1JR. Duane Calvin, AC5AA might know the
trick. It involves making one small change to the Orion .RIG file.
This might be it. Find the ORION.RIG file in your RADIOS directory.
Open the file in NOTEPAD and look for this section:
[MODES]
AM=4;4;N
CW=2,3;2,3;Y
FM=5;5;N
PACK=6;6;N
SSB=1,0;1,0;N
Change the word "PACK" to "RTTY" and save the file (DX4WIN should NOT be
running when you are making this change).
Now start DX4WIN and see if RTTY is working as expected. If you can
confirm this, I'll add it to my web site.
