This is the "other part" of the lost state/county/grid square issue.
Those who have seen either one of these errors had better check for the
other, as they both are the result of trying to add FJ. Not only did I
lose state/county info, but my DXCC counts changed. When I actually
found the culprit, it was as you mention, Doug, I had over 100 Qs,
mostly USA, that had been changed to "JZ0" in the database.
My other recommendation to add to the "back up!" one is to simply wait
for AD1C to put out the latest CTY file.... Apparently, he is one of
the few (only?) people that knows how to do this stuff!
73,
Steve

Subject: [Dx4win] Country count after adding FJ
I'm running Ver 7.03.16
After adding FJ to the database, another thing to check is your country
count including the Deleted. I have confirmed 337 Current and 10
Deleted
for a total of 347. After I added FJ to the database (but before
working
FJ), the count increased to 348 and the program had taken about 60 or 70
QSOs with the USA ("K" prefix) and reassigned the prefix to the Deleted
country Netherlands New Guinea (JZO), which is not one of the 10 I have
credit for. (So the Deleted credits had increased from 10 to 11).
I manually revised the prefix from JZ0 back to K and the country count
is
now back to normal. I don't track US counties so can't provide any
information on whether the US QSOs that were "corrected" changed re the
state or county and I haven't done any comparisons with a BU prior to
the FJ
addition.
Hope this will help Paul get to the bottom of what may have caused the
problem.
Seasons Greetings to all
Doug Joyce, VE3MV
