[Dx4win] laptop

hi my name is Phil and I have a problem. I have a new laptop(dell 9300). before my desktop went bad I had my desktop working great with my icom 756 proll. now with my new laptop i cannot get dx4win (ver.701) to change the bands, mode, or freq. on the rig.  I'm using a rigblaster (m8) it worked great with the old desktop, but the laptop is a no go.  The laptop has only a speaker, (or headphones) and a mike into the sound card  The desktop had a sound card with line in, line out, speakers and mike. I think I need a sound card with these connections. What kind of sound card do I need.  I hope someone out there can help me with this problem of getting the laptop to work with dz4win. 
Appreciate any help anyone can give me. Please keep it as simple as possible I'm not a computer wiz.   Phil w3gt
