[Dx4win] DX4WIN 7.02, microHam router queries, and pauses

Hi Folks,

Over the past month or two, I have been experiencing random pauses in DX4WIN
when I try to log a QSO. You'll enter the call, the computer will lock up for
several seconds, then it all comes alive again.

I'm using the microHAM microKeyer USB inteface with my ICOM 756 Pro III to read
the radio frequency.

During the weekend I worked about 300 QSOs search-and-pounce in the CQWW CW DX
contest. I tried checking the "Disable Router Queries" box in the microHam
router. From what I can remember, when this box was checked, I *never*
experienced the pause. I later unchecked the box, and think I experienced the
pause.

I can't explain it. I wonder if the DX4WIN polling was interfering with the
microKeyer polling. I think the radio is polling every 1 second.

I also have my ICOM in transceive (ie. babbling) mode. I have alternately
enabled and disabled this (with router queries ENabled) but I have not noticed
a difference with the pausing.

For people who HAVE experienced DX4WIN pausing, were you using a USB interface
to the radio, or a regular COM port interface? Was it with a microHam device,
or something else?
