I am pleased to say I think Paul has cracked it with the new LoTW import
routine in 7.02 build 15.

Be careful with your selection of "Options for Duplicate QSOs" I find
the last one comes up with the results I like.

One little challenge and I can see the logic why Paul had done it this
way, so that you don't get multiple LoTW messages in the notes for this
QSO if you decide not to overwrite your original information, is that
the Upl Cfm flag needs to be set to "N" before the LoTW download info
will be added to the QSO record in any form.

The challenge is if you have previously done LoTW downloads and the Upl
Cfm flag is set to "Y" is there an easy way to set it back to "N" so
that you can make use of the new feature with those QSO's too? This
would only need to be done once to catch up or you will be adding
duplicate notes to your log.

I have already seen a good example of why you may want to leave your
original log information different to the LoTW note left in the Notes
field by the import. I have already come across one situation where I
have a card in hand that clearly states that the ham was in MI and the
LoTW note says MA, the ham concerned has uploaded the record into LoTW
as MA he also has not put in his county or grid. I shall point it out
to the ham concerned.

A final thought. Make sure you delete any copies of the old builds of
7.02 so that if you need to do a re install at a later date you don't
inadvertently use one of them.
