[Dx4win] single band dxcc submission (procedure)

I just helped a friend who wanted to submit for a single band dxcc (160m) 
with dx4win.
Even i consider this an easy routine, my friend couldn't do it,
so thought to record the procedure..

1. It is strong possible to have you log with the submitted flags on (subm)
     while you have not submitted for a dxcc until now. This happened from 
your tries to submit.
    Let's check and clean it.
    1a. qso window: Reports>dxcc>listing. If you don't see anyone S goto 
step2, otherwise
    1b. qso window: Reports>change awards flags
                        Choose --> award: dxcc and Action: Clear submitted 
and close
2. 2a. File>Preferences> dxcc tab  and check only the desired band (for 
example 160) under Seperate award. It supposed that it is checked like a 
valid band also in first column.
    2b. Under awards in the same window check Band and Mixed(if this is your 
first application for dxcc) otherwise only the Band.
    2c. Check the desired modes.
    2d. save and exit (file>save changes and exit)
3. qso window: Reports>dxcc>submission
4. You have in front of you the desired file... Right click and you can 
print or save it.
5. In case you saved it (i suggest it) you have a dxcc_submission_file.csv
6. Open this file with the notepad and save as... txt file with a different 
name.
7. Open the excel and open this file. Choose the comma and finish.
8. Now you must have your file for the submission with every field in 
separate column in a excel file.
   Don't forget to save the file like an excel file now...
   and also to say to dx4win for any possible changes in excel file.
9. When your cards return from arrl
    qso window: Reports>change awards flags
                        Choose --> award: dxcc and Action: 
submitted-->checked  and close
                        Save your file
10. Note that you can search for the submitted or checked qsos manually
      Press f5 until the qso window is enough big to see dxcc (mixed,Band, 
mode)
      Press f8 and write in band box S and enter or C and enter. If you want 
to change
      a subm qso to non pres - (right from 0) and enter

The hard thing is to make the qsos. Sorry i can't help to it.... Keep 
walking

PS. I don't know an easier way to import a csv file to excel (in seperate 
columns). I believe that it must be one...
      If you know a better one you can go with this, from the step5 to step8
