Hi, Larry.
There are several CD-based call book products. For quite a few years I
used the RAC ("Flying Horse" Radio Amateur Callbook), but subsequently
found the QRZ CD-ROM to contain more current QSL information. It costs $25
and is updated every six months. https://secure.qrz.com/store/qrz_cd.html
All callbook products use the same FCC database for their domestic call
sign information. Where they begin to differ is in their supplementary
information (usually added by the licensees) and in the quantity and
accuracy of their DX information. You will often hear on-the-air DX
comments "QSL via QRZ dot com" that in my mind affirms the widespread
popularity of the product.
