Hi all that have suggested QuickMix. I shall check it out. Your
responses were just what I was looking for, I think so far 3 have
responded with QuickMix that is a pretty good indication that it is on
the money for what I need.

PS. Have downloaded and installed QuickMix and yep that gets the job
done. Thanks again.

Hello John,

I use a small freeware application called QuickMix to save and
subsequently
recall soundcard settings.

Available at www.msaxon.com/quickmix

It is quiet easy to use.

Good luck and 73,

W8NN

Is there a way to store and some how bring back volume control settings?

For example I use AFSK for RTTY and it is a bit of a pain setting the
levels each time as invariably they are not the same as settings for
other activities on the computer.

Was thinking there must be a utility program that will allow these to be
stored and retrieved for different activities.

Frigging with those silly sliders is a royal pain when there is some
interesting DX to work.
