I'm a fan of dx4win but I hate Windows. For years, dx4win run without 
problems
under linux in emulation mode. By version 6.04 things changed and the 
program
dosen't run under Linux anymore. So I reinstalled windows on one PC and it
runs stand alone now. I'm not happy with this situation, because I do NOT 
use
the internet with windows under ANY circumsdances. Paul, the programmer of
dx4win wrote me, he modifies the vich11.sys / vich11.vxd files.
If there are some more hams reporting the same problem, i think that will be 
a
argument to force the changing of programcode.

So, I hope for all Linux users and for you, that the things are changeing
soon.
