I am logged in with administrator rights. I have installed and configured 
the whole system with my current log in.

I think the PC hates me.

Hi Anders.


You have to be in "administrator" mode to run the program.  The driver needs 
to be installed for generating CW, and the program attempts to check for it 
during startup, unsuccessfully if you're not an administrator.


I (and others) have requested a program change to let Dx4Win run without CW 
support if the driver's presence can't be verified, but the authors haven't 
responded.


There are two main reasons that I think the change should be made:


  1) The computer is more open to external attacks (hackers) in "admin"
      mode.
  2) If you're just a user of the computer, and not able to set "admin" 
authority
      (my situation at the work QTH), you can't run the program.
