What I'm saying is that if you define a new group number, and set 
your QSO preferences to the new group number, then all QSOs added 
after that point (regardless of DX4WIN restart) will be in that new group.

However, a Group Selection is *NOT* remembered across DX4WIN 
restarts.  So if you are selecting (looking at) only QSOs made in 
2006, then you exit DX4WIN and restart, you will be selecting 
(looking at) all your QSOs again.
