[Dx4win] Importing us counties from LoTW

Hi Guys,
This was one of the things that the upgrade from 7.01 to 7.02 was about.
Firstly make sure you have 7.02 build 15, there were earlier builds that
this did not work correctly.
There are a couple of things you need to do to get this to work.
Firstly when you download the report file from LoTW there is a box to
tick to include more data in the file, choose this option. Also note
that there is a date option there also that is the start date for the
file, I always leave it blank so I get everything every time. Now your
report file should hold the info you want.
Now some bad news. If you have previously done a report import and
updated your "Upl Cfm" flag in DX4WIN to "Y" then the extra information
will not be added to that QSO entry. The reason for this is so that
when you do future LoTW report imports you do not want it adding
multiple notes saying the same thing, cleaver really. It does mean
however that you need to manually re set the "Y" "Upl Cfm" flag to "N"
before you can import the extra data into that QSO. This is a one off
as long as you always do a full report every time from now on, but
unfortunately there is no batch way to make the change. It actually
doesn't take long if you first do a filter for all the "Upl Cfm" flag
set to "Y" then with the curser in that box and one finger on "N"
another on F10 you can bang them through fairly quickly.
When doing the import choose the last option, "Imported QSO sets Upload
Confirmed flag"
I was doubtful about this feature when it first came out did quite a bit
of checking of what it was entering into MY log. But am now confident
that if used correctly can be very useful. If you use the correct
options every time it will add some good information to your log and
does not overwrite or remove any already in place.
Hope my ramblings help.

Teijo,
I used the "Imported QSO sets Upload Confirmed flag". I didn't replace
the existing data. But I did some testing and noticed that if you
already have Upl Cnf = Y the extra data isn't imported. I just imported
all the data since the beginning of LOTW and only 8 QSO's got the extra
data imported. Those 8 QSO's weren't confirmed by LOTW before this
latest import. So if one wants to import all the data with the "Imported
QSO sets Upload Confirmed flag" -option the log must have all the Upl
Cnf as N. But there is no way to change all the Upl Cnf from Y to N
automatically. Or if someone knows a way please inform us.
