[Dx4win] Editing ADIF import filter

Pete, what I have done is export an ADIF file from DX4WIN and study that
for what tags put what where. I guess if you were really organized you
could cut & paste them into a text file and have that for future
reference, kind of your own systematic table, wouldn't take much to do.
I just about always edit ADIF imports manually in a text editor, usually
a contest log from WriteLog. I'm fussy about what goes where. There are
utilities that people have developed to aide this but I have found that
they usually still don't organize it the way I want so I keep it simple
with a text editor. It really doesn't take much using the search &
replace and I get to organize it how I want it.
One thing I do when importing stuff into my main log is make a copy into
another directory before doing the import, so that if I don't like how
it turns out I can dump the modified log and bring back the unmodified
one and try again.

Subject: [Dx4win] Editing ADIF import filter
Am I right to assume that there is really no way of editing the ADIF
import filter to recognize ADIF tags that it doesn't "know about" in its
standard form?
It would sure be great to be able, at least, to know which ADIF tags
earmark data for which fields in the DX4WIN database, so that I can edit
them in the ADIF file if necessary. Is a systematic table of those
destinations available?
