[Dx4win] DX4WIN virus threat ?

I deleted mine; since it's not the exe in the program file directory.

All is OK.

But I wonder, if I run Norton again, will it report on the main exe ???!!!

I don't know if something had become attached to the temp file.

Yes indeed, same here with Norton 2006, there was the option to "ignore"
(which I chose), but wonder if it would be best to delete?

Any experts out there wish to comment?

I just ran my Norton Antivirus software; and it came up with   a detected
threat:

DX4W604.exe     Threat name WinFixer   action - Security risk found


Anyone know the meaning of this; I never saw it before ?

Had Norton on this PC for many years !

It only reported this in my Temp file (where I keep downloads , before
installation); so will delete it anyway
