Ron,

There may be easier ways but here is what I have done in the past.

Each line of an ADIF file ends with <EOR>.

I open the ADIF file in a text editor and do a search and replace.

Search:  <EOR>

Replace:  <COMMENT:21>ARRL 10 Meter Contest <EOR>

The COMMENT field puts it in the Notes for the QSO field.  The number is 
the number of characters in the field.
