Hello Josep
Most of the modern radios have the CAT hardware built in
and you only need a 3 wire serial cable.
With older radios or less expensive ones you need
a level shifter.
You can homebrew it using the Max 232
or it can be done with 2 BC550 transistors
depending on what kind of radio you need it for.
