[Dx4win] Problem controlling IC-7000

I'm having a problem getting DX4WIN (v7.02.15)to control my IC-7000.
Comm port, address (70), and other settings in DX4WIN/File/Preferences/Radio
are, I'm almost certain, correct. Just to check this, I downloaded Ham Radio
Deluxe and, using the same settings as in DX4WIN, can control the IC-7000
with no problem at all with HRD.
Here are the symptoms (these may be similar to what Jim, AD1C, recently
experienced:
1. Occasionally - but rarely - when I click on a spot, the radio jumps to
the spotted frequency, and when it does there's often a delay. But I have to
click furiously several times to even have a chance for a frequency change.
With HRD, everything works instantaneously (e.g., as I slide the frequency
bar in HRD, the IC-7000 frequency changes right along with it). And, of
course, since I can control using HRD, the physical connection between
computer and radio is fine.
2. DX4WIN does NOT give me a time-out message (so I assume the program
thinks it's "seeing" the radio).
3. FWIW, I have no problem using DX4WIN to control two other radios: My
Yaesu FT-817 and the MK-V.
If anyone is successfully controlling their IC-7000 with DX4WIN ver 7.02,
I'd very much appreciate their sending me their settings in
Preferences/Radio. Or if anyone has a suggestion, I'd sure appreciate
hearing it. Or do we have a program bug here?!
Thanks!
Dave, W2PK
