The N6TR filters have a special program that runs ahead of the actual
filter. It does some things (I know not what) and then when you run your
filter everything comes out as you anticipate. Look in the IMPORT filter for
N6TR2.BAT . If you open it in "edit" mode you will see the following batch
file statements:
rem remove comments from n6tr dat file
comremov %1
The program [comremov] is being run using the file you are operating on as
input.
To make a filter for TR Log files you need to set up the actions you want
and assign the filter a new name, e.g. N6TR3 . The go into the IMPORT folder
and make a copy of N6TR2.BAT and rename it N6TR3.BAT .
Now run your filter and it should work properly.
