[Dx4win] click on spot doesn't change frequency

Hi,
For some reason, my clicking on a spot has stopped 
working.  It used to change the frequency and mode.  Now 
it goes through the motions but it doesn't change 
anything.  The rig beeps as it has received a command. 
 The rig is a Kenwood TS-480.  It has worked before.  I'm 
stumped!
