Roger K9RB,
	Many thanks for your help.I have copied and pasted the file you sent into
the "radios" folder and it works but almost the same as using the TS850/950
file that was in there originally. It does now change the mode to that of a
spot but does nothing with the frquency.

HI ALL! is there anyone out there that has a solution!

The strange part about this is that using version 6.04 it worked FB.

Andy, They've had various versions of DX4WIN which have really bloodied up
the TS-950SDX operation. I found one and stuck with it. Just add it to your
C:\ Program Files | DX4W701 | "Radios" directory and then go to
"Preferences" and choose it as your rig file. It will work well for you but
even it is not perfect, but as close to perfect for the 950 SDX as you'll

If you find one that works better, I'd be interested in giving it a try. The
author of DX4WIN, Paul, doesn't even answer my e-mail's and I've been asking
for this fix as well as a couple other bugs for two years but it falls on
deaf ears. I think he really doesn't care!

I could do with a little help. Recently I upgraded from 6.04 to 7.01, now
when I want to qsy to a spot and click on the station in the spot window the
only thing that happens is that the rig changes to cw mode whether or not
the spot is cw. The program shows the change of band and mode correctly if I
change mode or band on the rig. My main rig (with the problem) is a Kenwood
TS950SDX. I also have a second rig a TS570 which works fine spots can be
transferred to the rig, including the qsx if applicable. The 950 worked fine
previously with versions 6.04 and earlier, and does work OK with my contest
logging programs (SD & Contest! by G4FON).

Any ideas please.
