Chris,
Depends a little if the contest is going at this moment or you want to
do this after the contest.
You can set a default group number for each new QSO
(File | Preferences | QSO) and use that group number
in a filter. Duping of the QSOs is still performed based on
the starting time of the contest.
If it is after the contest, use the multiple QSO operations to set the
group number for the QSOs matching a date filter.
Using a group vs a date filter also lets you put the name of the group
on the QSL label)

starting state. You can also define a group number for the QSOs
to be entered in the contest, and use that group number
